Jay Jackson's throwing a birthday blowout!

You're invited to Jay's Big Birthday Jam at the Fox and Hound in North Little Rock on Saturday, April 2 -- and it's a 1980's kind of night!

We're talking Jheri curls, Members Only Jackets, oversized sweaters and neon legwarmers. Our friends from Burning the Past will kick the show off at 9 pm, followed by the JJB rocking your favorite classics from the '80s. We're giving away prizes and playing games, in addition to having a charity auction to benefit Voices for Children of Pine Bluff (to help support kids in foster care).

Don't be lame! Totally come JAM with the Jay Jackson Band Saturday, April 2 at 9 pm. We're gonna party like it's 1985!

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - Chef Daniel Capello hopes to keep his title as Diamond Chef Arkansas for a second year in a row when the preliminary competitions heat up on March 2. The preliminary competitions take place 2-7 p.m. in the Peabody Hotel Lobby and are free to the public.

The competition begins with several rounds of preliminary cook-offs to select Chef Capello's opponent for the Diamond Chef Arkansas finale on June 7. Diamond Chef Arkansas, sponsored by the Pulaski Technical College Foundation, follows the format of the popular "Iron Chef" television series.

This year six Arkansas chefs are vying for a chance to advance to the final round against Chef Capello.
