Schools bill to keep pants off the ground passes

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) -- The House has approved a bill that would require schoolboys to keep their pants off the ground. The bill by Rep. Tracy Steele of North Little Rock passed Thursday on a 73-19 vote.

House Bill 1936 calls for school districts to ban revealing clothing. No more baggy pants, worn low, exposing undergarments. Bill sponsors say it's intended to improve grades and discourage fighting.
