WEST LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - Some pet-friendly humans put their paws to paint brushes on Sunday, all for a purpose.

It's a class at "Painting with a Twist" located in West Little Rock. Participants help the group "Friends of the Animal Village" by painting up a canvas as a possible Father's Day gift. In turn, a portion of the fees made during the Father's Day classes go towards Little Rock's animal adoption programs.

"We just like to get people out and of course the painting with a purpose, through Painting with a Twist, a little portion, well a nice portion actually, of everyone's painting fees does go to the non-profit," said Erin Johnson with the Friends of the Animal Village.

If you missed Sunday's event, don't worry, they have another one planned for August at a studio in the Heights.
