Arrest made in Little Rock 'road rage' shooting

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) – A Little Rock man is facing charges after what authorities described as a "road rage incident" happened Monday.

According to Lt. Carl Minden with the Pulaski County Sheriff's Office, Andrew Cody Cortinez, 26, allegedly tailgated and then cut off three people in an SUV on an icy Pinnacle Valley Road near Yacht Club Drive.

Cortinez reportedly got out of his truck and shot at them until they drove off. According to the incident report, the victims had never seen the suspect before.

The victims identified Cortinez in a photo lineup on Friday, and he was arrested the same day. According to the arrest report, Cortinez, a reportedly convicted felon on active supervised parole, confessed to shooting at the victims.

Cortinez is facing charges of terrorist act, possession of firearm by certain persons, and first degree criminal mischief.
